To realise extensive videoprojects with a curt budget and narrow appointments are the daily challenge of videoprofis. We will show you in this Workshop, how you can realise video cuts, effects, audio editing and DVD productions with Adobe Production Studio in an integrated ambiance. Adobe Production includes as a complete package for the post production, the single products, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD, Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3. And also the productivness raising tools Adobe Dynamic Link and Adobe Bridge.
 
Different cut technics, convoluted sequences, colour matching and effects, and also the cover design and the audio edititing will be presented as comprehensive possibilities of modern software tools.
 
This workshops shows in an impressive way how mediaproductions arise. The Adobe Systems trainer shows on the basis of a lot of practical examples the fascinationg possibilities of the software from Adobe.

The new Canon high definition video (HFV) sortiment offers a lot of high quality camcorders – from XL H1, the especial for the professional studio use conceived flagship, till the compact models of the also, professional XH serie. With the user friendly picture setup via menue or with telecontrol with the optional console software, you have your HD-absorption always under control.
 
In this workshop you will learn practical, the fascination of HDV and also the new challenge on the technical and content movie design. The well known TV-cameraman and extreme movie maker Martin Gremmelspacher will present you the practical handling of the XL H1 on example of a movie production in the Atacama-desert in Chile. Gremmelspacher has made movies with Canon-systems on over 7000 meter high Himalaya-pinnacles and can tell like nobody else about the making of a movie.

The digital photography has many difficulties and perfidies. Directly at the most modern technics are a lot to attend.
 
Reiner Harscher is one of the most famous travel photographers of our time. He has travelled to many countries, collected different impressions and made some 10000 pictures on his journeys.
 
Reiner Harscher will show you in this workshop how you make interesting and effectiv pictures on journeys. Learn tips and trcks directly from the profi and bewitched by the fascinating world of digital photography.
 
The focus of this workshop is on the digital photography and also the digital projection of pictures. The participants are fully integrated in this interactiv workshop with all their individually questions and problems. In the foreground are the possibilities of the modern technic and also the correct resolution of digital cameras and sensores. On the questions: “How many pixel does it need?” and “Which specialities are to known for the white balance?” are the reason for many discussions. Reiner Harscher knows a competent answer for all this questions.
 
The photojournalist and world traveller lais a special attention on the picture design, than especially by the digital photography one can just make a lot of pictures – the effective designed picture takes regrettably, too often a back seat. Beside the picture design the picture dramaturgy creates a essential contibution to the success of the pictures. Reiner Harscher demonstrates in this workshop the way to digital perfect pictures and presents countrysides, peoples, architectures and a lot of highlights out of the digital photography. The workshop wil be accompanied by digital composed shows, which will show new creativ possibilities.

Efficient Raw dataworkflow with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom closes the workflow-gap, which is originated from the changing of the analog to the digital photography. The software offers professional photographers new possibilities to import, administration, and presentation of great picture quantities. The software is developed from Adobe Systems with a thousand users world wide. With his modular, task-based and user friendly design the brand new software (available in 2007) Lightroom covers the complete photografical workflow.
 
The software offers a completely new user surface which puts that in the middlepoint, what is so important for photographers: the picture. User see easy and fast through a hundret of picutres and scale with the One-to-One-Zoom without lagging of single picture layers. Lightroom uses the effective Adobe Camera Raw-technology, supports beside JPG and TIFF over 125 native raw data formats and integrates the raw-konvertion in an integrative work order.
 
This Workshop takes a gander at the comfortable and efficient work function with Lightroom and the cooperation with Adobe Photoshop.

From the picture to the visualisation

Professor Rainer Voges from the “Fachhochschule” Giessen has intensivly looked into the subject of the cognition of pictures. He has, over the intervening years, created a workshop to that theme, which shows in 90 min. the selective, subjective, and personal picture-cognition. And which revolutionised the picture-cognition with easy but striking conclusions. We can not elude ourselfs to the picture-cognition, it is self governed and dominant. Pictures show structures, coherences and subjections, they offer orientation in time and space.
 
Pictures are also equivocal and need to be interpreted. Bound by cultural conditions, they lead the observer to disorient and creat dangerously confusions.
 
Pictures influence the measures of value and decisions. Reason enough, to think more specific about picture informations and informationclasses.

This WorkShop is focused on the professional creation of multimedial presentations. The contributor and developer of this worldwide used AV-software explains the different production- and effect possibilities of this gigant software in detail.
 
In the focus of that WorkShop are the user-related themes like basics of multidisplay-softedge-presentation, application of digital medias, integration of high-resolutioned video, creation of DVD´s and “need-to-know” about the used technic. AV Stumpfl – Digital panorama projection

Fantastical, multimedial projections amaze the audience again and again. Doesn´t matter if in the museal way, at events like the Expo or sport – championships, whenever one projects onto a big field, the audience ist surprised and excited.
 
One can produce such audiovisual highlights with the media-software Wings Platinum. Christoph Hilger from the company AV-Stumpfl, the developer of this software shows with a lot of examples, how such multimedial productions get created.
 
One can arrange and edit any type of media as objects in timeline tracks with Wings Platinum. This way, high-resolution pictures, HD-quality videos and multi-channel sounds can be merged into unique AV shows of enormous image size.
 
With the traditional 3D based multidisplay technology, every traditional boarders can be bursted. Therfore several projectors and displays were combined and supplied with synchronized image informations from networked presentation computers.
 
He will present, in multidisplay technic on a 18x5 meter big screen with 3 beamers in softedge-technic, what can be realized with todays state-of-the-art. For this purpose, different HDAV-productions of well-known producers will be presented in extracts.

The D-IlA projection technology from JVC, known in the HDAV- scene by the SX21, will be steadily advanced. From “analog to digital” with a new activation technic and also the advancement of the “Chip” technology, one can create resolutions till 8000 x 4000 pixel.
 
The vantages of that studies for you as end customer and what effects these researchs have on the new products of JVC in the area of projection will be presented, as by the last Medieafestival, by Gustav Werner Emrich (European Productmanager Presentation Products).
