Registration and medias

Deadline for the hand in of the multimedial productions was 29th January 2007. Althogether there were 667 productions (video, HD-video, HDAV, computeranimation, 35mm-Film, etc) handed in. Especially impressive at the 4th International Mediafestival is the contingent of international productions (USA, Romania, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Australia, England, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Scottland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Norway, etc.).

Now, the preselection jury has nominated the best productions for the mediaaward Blue Genius. In every showblock is a balanced mix of the single medias and the categories presented. The jury will chose out of the nominated production the winner, which will be presented and awarded at the “best of festival” on 25th March 2007.

The selected productions will be sorted by the organisers in categories and presented during the festival in showblocks.

The length of the productions shouldn´t be longer than 10 min. A special focus is pointed on productions from trainees (advanced technical college - Universities – private educational institutons). The jury will honor the best production, in every category, with the Mediaaward “Blue Genius”.
